After a good nights sleep, for me anyways (in a Wal-Mart parking lot) we headed over to The River shopping center. It was very beautiful with lots of "rivers", or man made water areas. There were not too many shops and some of them were closed down but we did walk into a photo gallery of Peter Lik (www.lik.com) and his photos are amazing and beautiful. Might have to get ourselves one, if we could ever decide which one to choose. We also enjoyed a great lunch at Calfornia Bistro.
Then we drove over to La Posea drive and checked out a whole bunch of art galleries. Some nice stuff and some weird stuff. Once our gallery shopping was complete we headed out towards Yucca Valley. Stopped at the visitor information center to pick up stuff about Joshua Tree National Park where we will go tomorrow. Ate supper at a Sizzler, ewe, although Tm said it was fine. Had I known it was a buffet place we would have kept driving. Oh well, just another experience.
Found a McD's and got caught up on the web. Nick won his basketball game today, way to go Nick! Planning on staying at another Wal-Mart for night.
