Day 42

Sun shining again. God is good. Had our breakfast and packed up and drove a short way to Muir Monument park to walk among the huge redwood trees. The first part of the path is a board walk and then well packed dirt. It was absolutely beautiful walk enjoying the trees, the ferns, the little creek and the silence. Windy narrow road to get here and little for RV parking but since we arrived early we were able to park in the first parking lot. If you come to San Francisco you need to come here and check it out. We loved it.

Then, we headed out on the highway once again. This time heading for San Diego, planning to stop on the way for night. Stopped at a In and Out restaurant because we had two people tell us it was really good. Well not sure what they tasted cause it was just OK. They had a very limited menu - three hamburgers, a plain single, a cheese single and a double cheese, one size of fries and pop, also coffee. We will not be eating at one of these establishments again.

Planning our day for tomorrow. Looking forward to another day. It has been wonderful being able to spend all day, every day with Tim my very best friend and to enjoy God's amazing handiwork. The terrain that we have seen is all over the board. Today, for example, we walked through large redwood trees and then drove past hundreds of acres of almond trees with a few orange trees thrown in and even a field of grapes. At least now I know where the almonds for my almond milk comes from. We are missing our friends but are grateful for wifi, FB and Twitter.
