After saying our goodbyes to the Friesen's we headed out on the road. Made a quick stop for fuel and snacks and away we went. The sun was shining and we had good company. Tim was not feeling so well so he let Matt drive for part of the way. We 'had' to stop at McDonald's to eat, not my choice, before continuing on towards Phoenix. We made it to my cousins home before dark, which was nice. We planned to eat at San Tan Flat but when we arrived and saw that the place was packed full of people with over an hour long wait, we decided to soak up the ambience and find another place to eat. We found a Pizza Hut close by and fed the five of us for $25, a good deal. We picked up some snacks at Fry's (we had already purchased other food prior to supper) and headed back to enjoy our snacks while watching a movie.

After a good night sleep and a good breakfast we walked to Epic Christian Church for their morning service. The topic this morning was returning to God from the story of the prodigal son. Lunch was salad, baked potatoes, steak and chicken with thanks to our teamwork. Goldfield Ghost town was our tourist visit this afternoon with Matt, and Al & Hilda. Much too soon we needed to take Matt to airport for 6:00 pm. We first dropped of A&H at Allan's Aunt Brenda and Uncle Wayne's fifth wheel at their mobile park. After saying goodbye to Matt, Tim & I joined A&H and had a good supper, made by his relatives and had an enjoyable visit. Weather was getting quite windy tonight with a bit of rain.

Another great sleep at the Nikkel Resort. The weather is very cold today so we decided to take a drive up to Theodore Roosevelt Dam and then back the windy road to Tortilla Flat. We tried to do this another time only the opposite way but the road had been closed that time. So glad we chose to come this time, despite me feeling ill the views were so amazing and definitely worth the drive. It was snowing around Globe and raining at other points of our trip but we still had an amazing time. We had a late lunch at Tortilla Flat before heading back. Food, snacks and another movie before retiring for the night.

Last day for A & H. We took a walk to the pool and back and then drove Allan & Hilda to the airport. We really enjoyed our time together, we are so thankful that they decided to join us.
Since I was still sick I had an afternoon nap while Tim, who is feeling a bit better, did some work with the RV (cord repair). Washed all the bedding and towels, and cleaned the house up before our last sleep at the Nikkel resort. We took some time to plan the next part of our trip. We will be making our way to RGBI to visit family and help our wherever we are needed. Our initial plan to help with MDS in Texas is no longer viable but hopefully we can do some other work along the way.
