Wow! The last full day here at Casa de Esperanza and I am finally feeling better. Praise the Lord!
This morning we went to San Josea and rounded up some children to play soccer and duck, duck, goose for the younger ones. After and enjoyable time of playing the pastor from the Spanish church on San Carlos led the children in a song and told them a short bible story. The sun was warm and I soon realized that I should have not worn jeans. I was not the only one feeling this way. The crowd seemed to be getting bigger and bigger and we quickly found out that we would not have enough back packs for all the kids that were coming out of no where. So we make the best of it and handed out what we had then had to say we were sorry that there was no more. We felt bad but there was nothing we could do but head back to to San Carlos.
I have to go cut Tim's hair now so I will write more later. Ok, I'm back, hair is cut, clothes are drying and we are getting ready to go to the Spanish church here in San Carlos to hand out back packs and bags of candy.
Backpacks given out, soon it will be time to eat quesadillas. Supper was delicious and now just hanging out till bedtime.
Last night here, we will be sad to go but know that we can come back if we wish.
